Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These terms govern the use of OneHook(the “Service”) operated by 팡(the “Company”), including the rights, obligations and responsibilities of the Company and the user.

2. What the Service does

The Service uses generative AI to produce a script, voice-over, captions and background images from a topic, a script, or a web document you provide, and renders them into a vertical video file.

3. Pricing and payment

  1. Rendering a video is paid: you buy credits and spend them to render. How many credits a video costs depends on the options you choose — 1 for real footage, 3 for AI image backgrounds, and 6 when an AI video hook is added. The cost is shown before you generate, and that displayed figure is what is charged. Prices start at KRW 500 per credit; the exact price is shown on the checkout screen.
  2. Everything before rendering — writing and editing scripts — is free.
  3. Credits never expire. The Company does not void unused credits for the passage of time.
  4. If a render fails for reasons attributable to the Company, the credit is returned automatically.
  5. Prices shown include VAT.
  6. Credits may be used only for the video generation service provided by the Company and are not redeemable for cash or exchangeable for other goods or services (automatic restoration under 3.4 and cancellations under the Refund Policy excepted).
  7. You may not transfer, lend or sell credits to anyone else; credits are usable only from the wallet of the purchasing user.
  8. Where a minor pays without the consent of their legal representative, the minor or that representative may cancel the payment, subject to the exceptions provided by law.

4. Your content and your rights

  1. You retain all rights in the topics, scripts, documents and images you provide (“Input Content”).
  2. You must only submit content you created or are authorised to use. You are responsible for disputes arising from submitting third-party works without permission.
  3. Rights to use the generated video belong to you, including commercial use. Third-party materials included in the video (e.g. free stock images) remain subject to their own licences.
  4. The Company does not use your Input Content for any purpose other than providing the Service, and never for advertising or promotion.
  5. You alone bear every legal and operational consequence of publishing or distributing a generated video on an external platform (YouTube, social media and the like) — copyright claims, account penalties, disputes with third parties and anything similar. Checking and complying with each platform’s terms and policies (AI-disclosure requirements, monetisation rules and so on) is your responsibility, and the Company does not guarantee that a video can be published on any particular platform or that it will earn anything.

5. Notice about AI-generated output

  1. Output is produced by generative AI. The Company marks output as AI-generated as required by applicable law.
  2. AI output may contain factually incorrect information. Review the video before publishing or distributing it; for sensitive topics such as health, medicine or finance, expert review is recommended.

6. Prohibited use

You must not use the Service to create:

  1. content infringing copyright, likeness rights, trademarks or other rights of others;
  2. content impersonating others or damaging reputation through false statements;
  3. illegal material, content harmful to minors, or content promoting discrimination or hatred;
  4. anything that disrupts normal operation of the Service (abnormal bulk requests, circumvention of access controls, and the like).

7. Suspension and changes

The Service may be suspended temporarily for maintenance, equipment failure, or issues with external services (AI, payments). Where advance notice is not feasible, notice is given afterwards. Material changes to the Service are announced 7 days before they take effect.

8. Limitation of liability

  1. The Company is not responsible for the content of videos you generate or for consequences of their use, except in cases of the Company’s intent or gross negligence.
  2. To the extent permitted by law, the Company’s liability is limited to the amount you paid.

9. Changes to these terms

These terms may be amended within the limits of applicable law. Changes are announced 7 days before taking effect (30 days where the change is unfavourable to users).

10. Governing law and disputes

Disputes are resolved through discussion between the Company and the user; failing that, under the laws of the Republic of Korea and commercial practice. Consumer disputes may be handled under the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce and the Korean consumer dispute resolution standards.
