Delete from inside the app
If you still have the app, this is the fastest way — it takes effect immediately.
- Open the OneHook app.
- Tap the account icon in the top right.
- Choose Delete account and confirm.
If you already removed the app
Email us the Google account address you signed up with. We verify it and delete within 3 business days, then confirm by reply.
What gets deleted
- Your account — the Google sign-in link, email, and name. After deletion, signing in again with the same account does not restore anything.
- Your generation history — topics and scripts you entered, the videos and captions produced, and the device token used for notifications.
- Remaining coins — they are forfeited and not refunded. Spend them first, or if you want unused coins refunded, do not delete yet: request a refund under the Refund Policy.
What is retained
Payment records(product purchased, coins, timestamp) are retained as required by law — Korea’s Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce requires records of payment and supply of goods to be kept for 5 years.
Those records contain no name or email. Deleting the account severs the link between the wallet identifier and your member information, so what remains cannot identify you. It is destroyed irrecoverably once the retention period ends.
Receipts and refund history for Google Play purchases are held separately by Google and fall outside what the Company can delete. You can view them in your Google account’s purchase history.
How long it takes
Deletion from the app is immediate. Video files still in storage are removed with it within 7 days under our retention policy.
