Coin Purchase Terms

These terms apply to the purchase and use of paid coins in OneHook(“the Company”). By purchasing coins you agree to them. Matters not covered here are governed by the Terms of Service and the Refund Policy.

1. Read this before you buy

• Coins you have used are not refundable. Once video generation starts, that coin is treated as content already delivered, which limits the right of withdrawal under Korean e-commerce law.
• Unused coins are refundable within 7 days of payment.
• Output quality is not guaranteed. Videos are generated by AI, so the same topic can produce different results each time and may not match your expectations. Dissatisfaction with a result is not grounds for a refund.
• Preview is free — you can review the script and scene plan before any coin is spent.
• If generation fails, the coin is returned automatically. You are never charged for a failure.

2. What a coin is, and what we sell

1. A coin is a right to use the video generation feature inside OneHook. It is not cash, currency, or a security, and it is not a prepaid payment instrument under Korean electronic financial transactions law — it can only be used within the Company’s own service.
2. Coins are not redeemable for cash and cannot be transferred, sold, lent, or moved to another account.
3. Coins do not expire. They are never forfeited merely by the passage of time.
4. The number of coins a video costs depends on the options you choose. The cost is shown on screen before generation, and that displayed figure is what is charged.

The Company sells the following products.

Each is a one-time purchase — nothing renews automatically.

The figures above are the reference prices the Company registered; the amount you are actually charged may differ. For purchases in the Android app Google is the seller of record, and Google determines the displayed price and the amount billed, based on the country and currency set on your Google Play account. Exchange rates, local tax and the per-currency price tiers Google Play uses all feed into that, so even a purchase billed in Korean won can land a few hundred won away from the reference price above. The Company cannot adjust that difference.

The amount shown in the Google Play payment sheet immediately before you confirm is therefore what you actually pay, and it prevails over the table above. Please check that amount before you buy. Your receipts and the amounts actually charged are available in your Google Play order history.

3. Payment and crediting

1. Purchases in the Android app are made through Google Play. Google is the seller of record; payment methods, currency, displayed price, receipts, and refund intake follow Google’s policies and procedures.
2. After payment, the Company verifies the purchase and credits the coins. Crediting may be delayed by network errors; reopening the app retries automatically. A single payment is never credited twice.
3. If payment completed but coins were not credited, contact us and we will credit or refund after verification.
4. Prices may change. Changes do not affect coins already purchased.

4. Refunds

1. Unused coins: you may withdraw within 7 days of payment.
2. Partially used: used coins are not subject to withdrawal; we refund the amount corresponding to the remaining coins (payment ÷ coins purchased × coins remaining).
3. Used coins: not refundable, as content delivery began when generation started. If output was not delivered because of an error on our side or in a service we rely on, the coin is returned.
4. For purchases through Google Play, Google’s refund policy also applies. Where Google issues a refund, the Company may reclaim the remaining coins credited by that payment.
5. Even after 7 days, a refund is available where the Company is at fault for your inability to use the service.

5. Notice about AI-generated output

1. Script, voice, and scene composition are generated automatically by AI. The Company does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, currency, fitness for a particular purpose, or commercial performance of the output.
2. AI can produce statements that are factually wrong. Output must not be relied on for medical, legal, financial, or investment decisions, and you should review it yourself before publishing or acting on it.
3. The same input can yield different results each time; you cannot require a specific result to be reproduced or preserved.
4. The Company relies on external services such as AI models and stock media providers. Their policy changes, outages, or shutdowns may change or discontinue parts of the feature.
5. You are responsible for checking that the output does not infringe third-party copyright, likeness, or trademark rights. Disputes arising from what you input and how you use the output are your responsibility.
6. Background media used in a video may carry attribution requirements. Do not remove the credit information shown on screen.

6. Your responsibilities

• Do not input content that infringes others’ rights, violates law, or promotes hatred or discrimination.
• Do not call the service excessively by automated means, or obtain or use coins or accounts fraudulently.
• If a violation is confirmed we may restrict use, and coins obtained fraudulently are not refundable.
• You alone bear every legal and operational consequence of publishing or distributing a generated video on an external platform (YouTube, social media and the like) — copyright claims, account penalties, disputes with third parties and anything similar. Checking and complying with each platform’s terms and policies (AI-disclosure requirements, monetisation rules and so on) is your responsibility. A video being rejected, or an account being penalised, is not a defect in the Service and is not a ground for a refund.

7. Changes to and discontinuation of the service

1. The Company may change the service or stop providing it. Significant changes are announced in advance.
2. If the service is discontinued, we announce it with reasonable notice and refund coins that remain unused at that time.

8. Limitation of liability

1. The Company does not warrant output quality as described in section 5 and is not liable for results you do or do not obtain from using the output.
2. The Company is not liable for damage arising from causes beyond its reasonable control, such as natural disasters, network failures, or outages of external services.
3. Damages payable by the Company are limited to the amount you actually paid in the transaction that caused the damage.
4. However, damage caused by the Company’s intent or gross negligence, and liabilities that law does not permit to be limited to a consumer’s disadvantage, are not limited by the paragraphs above.

9. Purchases by minors

Where a user under 19 pays without the consent of a legal representative, the user or that representative may cancel the payment, subject to the exceptions provided by law (for example, payment from property the representative permitted the minor to dispose of).

10. Changes to these terms

The Company may amend these terms, announcing them 7 days before the effective date (30 days where the change is unfavourable to users). If you do not agree, you may stop using coins and request a refund. Amended terms apply to purchases made after the effective date and do not retroactively worsen the conditions of coins already purchased.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. The Company and the user shall negotiate in good faith to resolve any dispute; failing that, either may file suit in the court having jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act. Consumers may also apply for mediation with bodies such as the Korea Consumer Agency.
